GWS Braces for BRAC
March 10, 2008
George William Stephens, Jr. and Associates, Inc. has been an integral part of the Engineering Community in Harford County for nearly 7 decades. During this time GWS has provided engineering, land planning and surveying services for hundreds of Capital Improvement and Private development projects. The impending BRAC program is significantly going to strain the engineering resources in both the Government and Public arenas.
With expectations of approximately nine thousand military jobs moving into Aberdeen Proving Grounds there is an ever increasing need for the planning and designs associated with the construction of roads, utilities, housing and commercial/industrial facilities. The BRAC initiatives mandate that all programs be implemented by 2011 putting a strain on the A/E and Construction Industries.
GWS offers a flexible staff of engineers, landscape architects and surveyors capable of seeing projects completed through conventional design or fast tracked design build construction. With an unparalleled understanding of the design and permitting processes in Harford, Cecil and Baltimore Counties, GWS combines local knowledge and experience to civil engineering, land planning projects for Government and Private Industry.
